How did I get started with essential oils and nontoxic living?

I started this oily journey in October of 2018 when my mom bought me my very first bottle of Thieves Household Cleaner.  My kids were getting to the age where they needed to start helping out a little more, but with that came all the things mommas worry about. “What if they spray this in their face?” “What if they spray this in their sibling’s face?” and on and on the questions went.  Let’s just say, I knew I couldn’t give the things I had traditionally bought at the store to my kids to help me clean.  As I started thinking about all these questions, I thought about the fact that I had to use gloves to clean or how strong the smell was when I would clean things.  Then, I thought about the fact that I put my kids in the tub after I clean it with these strong chemicals.  NOPE no more!  Enter Young Living and Thieves Household Cleaner! We quickly fell in love with this product and we have never looked back. I like to say Thieves Household Cleaner was our gateway product into Young Living. 

Nov of 2018, when I got my starter kit, I could not have been more excited.  I quickly found out how amazing all of these oils were and how many areas of our lives they would help us with.  When you hear people say, “There is an oil for that”, it is no joke.  These amazing tools have helped us with sleep, emotions, energy, seasonal support, focus, and on and on and the list continues to grow all the time.

One thing you will find out about me, is when I find something I love and and that has helped me; I want everyone to know about it.  The same was true with essential oils and Young Living.  I knew immediately I wanted to start sharing and do the business side of all of this; however, at that time, we were packing up and moving across the country, so I did not start the business side right away.  I knew this was something I wanted to do, but I also wanted to give it the attention it deserved, so I started trying to learn as much as my brain could hold.

Once we moved and were settled in, I started the business side of things and have loved every single second of it. Young living is not a company I work FOR it is a company I am so PROUD to work hand in hand WITH.  The genuine desire of my heart is to help as many people as possible go from overwhelmed to empowered.

I want to help take the overwhelm of looking for all of these new solutions for old issues away and help you feel empowered with the choices that you are making are the very best for you and your family.
